The Castle presents itself as a fortified village - with its watchtowers, moat and enclosure wall – clearly testifying to its medieval origin. The beautiful frescoes are the work of the famous painter Pier Leone Ghezzi, who was called by the Prince Falconieri to celebrate the glories of the family and the visit to the castle of Pope Benedict XIII in the year 1725. Castello Pietra has its own private chapel inside the castles beautiful gardens. This is a wedding and reception venue only, accommodations can be arranged nearby. venue gallery
