The villa is the main building on Tenuta di Petrolo, built by the architect Massimiliano Soldani as his own residence between 1700-1750. The villa has a vast private garden of over 1 hectare, a 6 x 12 meter swimming pool and a tennis court surrounded by spectacular cypresses. The interior has had every detail attended to which consists mostly of antique furniture, a Murano chandelier in the foyer, and both antique and modern paintings throughout the villa. There are 10 elegantly decorated bedrooms, many with 4 poster beds and 7 bathrooms in the villa.
