 My love affair with Italy began well over a decade ago as an American student backpacking around Europe. After returning home my multi tasking skill and passion for detail were honed in the corporate sector in Chicago. After three years, I came to realize that I wanted something more adventurous from my work life and I moved into foreign event management for a motorcycle tour company. They specialized in upmarket, five star motorcycle tours to some of the most exotic and remote places in the world. My clients were serious motorcycle enthusiasts who demanded - and received - the very highest quality of service and management. After five years with the touring company, I moved to Switzerland and found myself just 3 hours away from the Italian border. The flame which had been ignited ten years earlier was rekindled; I have spent the better part of the past six years roaming around Italy once more, soaking in the unique atmosphere and building strong relationships with the owners of some of the most exquisite villas, borgos, agritourismo and castles, the finest caterers and florists and - in the process - making many new friends. My company, Italian Dream Events, represents the happy coming together of my labor over these past six years and my love affair for the past decade and more. Italian Dream Events is based in Dublin, Ireland but has an internationale clientele from the USA, United Kingdom, Germany, Switzerland, New Zealand, Australia and of course Ireland.
